This is a collection of extras for Derailed. Some of these drawings are from before the comic pages of Derailed were started. For example, the conceptual background drawings are exploration and practice to help create the style that Derailed uses. In addition, the collection includes expression and turnaround sheets that help keep the characters on model. Furthermore, the gallery also includes random sketches of the characters drawn for fun.
Bonus Character Drawings
This is a GIF of Toby feeling frustration. Derailed’s author, Gabriella, has a love for 2d animation. Thus, she sometimes studies the basic concepts to help her create simple GIFs like this one.
My entry for for the Webtoon Present Drop Collaborative. Webtoon artists drew their characters dropping presents. Then, everyone’s drawings were stacked together to make it look like gifts are continually being dropped!
Here are Toby and Kolina in costumes for Halloween. Specifically, they are wearing clothes to look like the characters, Rogier and Suzzen, from the webcomic, Bookwyrms.
This sketch of Toby running is a redraw of an old running sketch. This new sketch is practice to create dynamic poses.

Scrapped Thumbnails
These thumbnails were from 2017 when the story was originally going to be called, Snow Angel. The storyline and pacing got totally changed, and fortunately, I improved at laying out pages.
